Sorry if this sounds dumb, I'm new to ML. So basically, if the softmax function is "e ^ (x - max(x)) / sum(e^(x - max(x))", I understand what e is, but then what's x? I keep seeing people make x an array, but shouldn't it just be a single number or float? Isn't that what the output would be of the summation formula? Thanks.
But just as an experiment.

So, I was wondering... If dopamine can keep people addicted to an app, just how long can I keep them hooked?
So I started researching dopamine, and I found that I need to include:
-Constant positive re-enforcement
-Fear of missing out
-Anticipation for the future
-Lots of notifications
-Make them feel bad
-Let them comment and like/dislike random things
-Lots of bright coloursSO... Do you have...
I found this very interesting.

I'm working on an AI chatbot that uses machine learning, and I have a few ideas. Which do you think would work best/do you have any other ideas?
(1) Trial & error: It has a list of common phrases, and tries each one against your input to see if it would make sense.
(2) It starts with very basic, hardcoded responses, then whenever you say something to it, it just adds it as a response to...

It's honestly stupid. Then kids go around saying, "Hey! I learnt to code!". Then I'll ask which language, and when they reply with "Scratch", I go bonkers.
Wow that's good. It's way better at chess than me.
Seems decent, can you publish it on android? I don't have an iPhone or iPad.

Hey, I made an app to teach languages by talking to an AI in that language. Since posting about this before, I have made these updates (with some of your feedback!):
- Smarter AI
- Bug fixes
- Easier to use
- Better mobile interface
I just finished making it give more natural responses.
I updated the AI so that it's (a lot) smarter than before. Try it out!
I just updated the AI to be a lot smarter - and it's improved now. You can try it out.
Yeah... It's not the brightest.
Sometimes when you ask it how it is, it replies "I am functioning within my normal parameters". It seems to like to show off it's language skills?
Oh, ok. Thanks for the feedback, I'll try to make some improvements to it's choice of words.
What about it didn't work? It's fine for me.
Thanks, tell me what you think once you try it some more.
Thanks for the feedback. It's mostly for practising a language as a side, not as a MAIN language learning tool.
PS: No, it's not GPT-3.
Thanks so much! I'll have a look.
Oops, I know why. Gonna fix it now...
Done.
I made a language learning app, that lets you talk to AI in another language. After getting some feedback, I've improved it so that it's easier to use. Can I get your thoughts?
PS: Technically this is a repost, because I need further feedback. My original post:

No you just read it.
Also, you type something into the form, THEN click the "Say it" button.
Sounds good, thanks for the feedback. I'll add that in.
Hey, this language learning website lets you talk to an AI in another language to help you learn. Let me know what you think!
PS: Please don't talk for too long, because I have limited computing power. I just want some feedback before I get more.
