Fredrin | GTM Engineer | REMOTE (US) | Full-time | $130k + equity | https://www.fredrin.com/careers/gtm-engineer?utm_source=hack...

Fredrin is the multiplayer software factory: one app where a team and its AI Workers build software together, and Workers running Claude Code or Codex, on the subscription you already pay for, plan, build, test and merge the work. We build Fredrin with Fredrin: over 1,500 PRs merged last month. Free to start on macOS, Windows and Linux.

As our GTM engineer you'll build the analytics, attribution and automation behind growth: which launch, post or creator actually brings people in, and the workflows that run the funnel without manual work. You'll work alongside our founding growth lead, who owns the channels and the story while you make sure every bet can be seen and measured. You can build in code, you care about clean data, and you'd rather automate a task than repeat it.

Apply at the link above, and tell us the one thing you'd instrument first for us in week one.

is this a taste of things to come?
This game is pretty awesome. This should be upvoted more!

Fredrin | Forward Deployed Engineers | Los Angeles, CA | REMOTE | $150k-$250k annual salary

Fredrin is an AI software factory for engineering teams: run many coding agents in parallel from one Kanban board, with each ticket getting its own branch, worktree, and agent session. We bring planning, execution, code review, and pull requests into one workspace. https://www.fredrin.com

We're hiring forward deployed engineers to help teams adopt Fredrin in real production workflows. You'll work directly with customer engineers, connect their repos and CI, make their codebases agent-ready, debug deployments, and turn what you learn into improvements you ship in Fredrin itself.

We're looking for strong TypeScript skills, deep practical knowledge of Git and worktrees, experience shipping production software, and hands-on experience with AI coding agents. You should be comfortable owning ambiguous problems and communicating clearly with customers. Try Fredrin before applying: you'll be teaching it from day one.

Apply here: https://www.fredrin.com/careers/forward-deployed-engineer

Agents get their own git? What are some use cases for this?
Hi I built Fredrin to speed up my vibe coding. On any given day, I was juggling between the dozens of cmux tabs w/ claude code, Linear in the other, Github in another, and it always felt like I'm not moving as fast as I should.

Not only that, I needed a better way to create and manage a workflow pipeline of what a task goes through, be it to test, take screenshots, or even video walkthroughs, I wanted an easier visual way of managing all of these things.

So I built Fredrin. Give it a try and if you like it, give it an upvote, retweet, and share.

i was also building something similar. https://github.com/jaequery/planbooq. i think building your own kanban is the new age vim/emacs, so you can streamline your workflows the way you want them to be.
I am all for supporting local devs/vibe-coders.
what? no, i love projects like these. but re-reading my comment, it does sound a little messed =p. what i meant was it gave me old HN vibes, back when weird, fun projects popped off instead of everything being AI-wrapped.
i am actually even more impressed that you got this to front page
as a stand alone app, i thought there would be at least some kind of an improvement in UI but its like a step back.

Show HN: DockerHoster – Self-hosted alternative to Vercel with auto-deployments

https://twitter.com/jaequery/status/2014049948195815585

I built DockerHoster after getting tired of paying per-project hosting fees. It's a one-command setup that lets you host 20+ websites on a single $12/month VPS with automated GitHub deployments. The problem: I wanted the simplicity of Vercel's "push to deploy" workflow but needed to run databases, cronjobs, and long-running processes that serverless platforms don't support well. The solution:...

Re:IRCd service (2024) on Thursday October 30, 2025 @12:42PM (#45762044)
i think this is not an easy problem to solve. but this has been a big enough of an itch for me and i've got some time on my hands these days so i'm building www.ever.chat for anyone interested to take a look.

if anyone wanna chat, stop by and/or hit me up on X!

Re:IRCd service (2024) on Thursday October 30, 2025 @12:08PM (#45761599)
Reading this makes me nostalgic :D It's quite a coincidence because I just recently built something inspired by the same feeling, and it’s called ever.chat.

Kind of like IRC, where you join rooms instantly via hashtags, something I couldn't do with Slack/Discord.

It was built out of scratching an itch, and it's still early in development but I posted it on Show HN earlier today if anyone wants to check it out or share thoughts.

Show HN: Ever.chat – Instant hashtag chatrooms, like IRC for 2025

https://www.ever.chat/r/general

I built Ever.chat because I miss the early internet, when you could jump into a random chatroom and instantly meet people who shared your interests.Ever.chat brings that back, reimagined for today. No accounts, no invites, no servers, just type a hashtag and you’re in. Examples: #startups, #ai, #general. Why: Discord and Slack made chat too closed. IRC was too technical. I wanted the simplicity...

Re:Ask HN: What are you working on? (September 2025) on Tuesday September 30, 2025 @04:14AM (#45423129)
this month, i've been building https://tierbudddy.com and https://passportphotos.co

Show HN: TierBuddy – A better, faster tier list creator with AI

https://tierbuddy.com/

Hey HN,I’m a former CTO who’s getting older and just wanted to build something fun again. So I vibe-coded TierBuddy, a tier list creator that’s simpler, sleeker, and has AI to auto-generate lists from a single prompt. It also has built-in image search and a UI that doesn’t get painful once you have 20+ items.I haven't had much luck gaining traction from Show HN lately so if you can please...

Re:Why our website looks like an operating system on Friday September 12, 2025 @01:40AM (#45218948)
i hope this doesn't become a trend.
Re:Nano Banana image examples on Thursday September 11, 2025 @10:41PM (#45218159)
wow. RIP midjourney.
I built TierBuddy because I was frustrated with how clunky TierMaker felt, especially when working with lots of items.

No more endless dragging and scrolling, the UX is simplified so even non-techies can use it.

You can search and add images directly inside the app, instead of downloading/uploading one by one.

Designed with streamers and content creators in mind: making a tier list on stream is fast and seamless.

It’s free, and we’re working on features to better support the creator economy (collaboration, monetization, etc.).

Would love feedback from the HN community on the UX and what features you’d want to see next.

this is the future ^^^
damn, i've been drinking bagged green tea 3x a day ...

I can't wait for Deno to get rid of all these bundlers
jQuery? :D

it's true, coding was easy with jQuery ...

Re:Server-Side Rendering Is a Thiel Truth (2020) on Wednesday August 23, 2023 @01:37PM (#37239472)
I think the trend these days is we are now going back to combining backend and frontend again. I'm looking at you Next.js.
