In regards to video hosting; Should they? When you go to Mcdonalds, should they provide (or be force to) the option for you to buy a Whopper, if not, why should YouTube be forced to? Nothing is forcing users or content creators to use the platform, they simple do because they know that is where the customer base is, and user know that is where content is.

And I agree that most "common" users could use Bing and not know the difference, but then again that destroys the U.S's whole case of a "monopoly" market.

But why is that Google fault? Short answer, it's not.

But you're not cornered in. You might think they have a large influence over what is happening online (and they do), but you as an individual have a choice if you want to use the services they provide.

Also this large influence is additionally strengthened by the fact that no other company can offer services (above mentioned) that match the quality of the product Google is giving.

I often fell the same way about flag, recently I started using [go-args](https://godoc.org/github.com/alexflint/go-arg#example-packag...) and so far I've found that it works a bit smoother.

Staying close to SLC is the only way this can happen.

I live in SLC, Utah and I generally agree with this. I'm constantly shut down because I say that "Happy Valley" will never be able to attract high quality individuals, mainly because it so horrible out there.

Don't tell the Mormons, they'll try and twist it somehow to prove their history.

Re:Mega Commuters in the U.S. [pdf] on Thursday November 03, 2016 @12:13PM (#12865250)
I wonder how automated cars will change this. I would expect we will see larger and larger commute times, as people will be able to work in their cars (given their job), and it won't be so onerous as many of the things we do at home to relax can possibly be done while the car drives us where we need to go.
I heard the third season was coming out so I checked it out...wow, great show! The first couple of seasons have few episodes so it's easy to catch up. Great writing, but I shouldn't be surprised as it comes from the mind of Charlie Brooker.
Re:Opposition to Galileo was scientific, not just religious on Thursday October 06, 2016 @01:47PM (#12654464)
Scientific opposition is expected, that is the method in which science works. Scientist want proof for a claim, the church didn't want to be wrong.
