Clicked it because the hyperlink wasn't clear from the description.....

This talk feels, as a coding analogy, a lot more like throwing ingredients into a recipe than architecting an abstract machine.

Apparently I'm not the only one.

So if your review is considered 'bad for business', it gets you blocked from reviewing. Ridiculous.

Relatively. Should have said wealthy.

Do you know the origins of the word 'salary'?

If you compare wallet size, you're likely bound to find someone with a fatter wallet.

If you compare wealth over time, you may find you're richer than many just by opening your kitchen cabinets. [0]

As long as humanity moves forward for each other (and we don't * up [2]), wealth increases for everyone, on average. [1] In metrics that a dollar amount can't capture.

Studying. Improving human knowledge. Honest inquiry dispensed from the peacocking and fighting over breadcrumbs of academia.

Can failures in human morality be solved by technology?
If symbols are your pain point, why not just put those on an external macro pad? From what I remember, switching to Dvorak et al isn't best for increased efficiency, and you lock yourself from standard devices. Qwerty is better than good: it's good enough. Ergonomic keyboards are a good consideration, not for efficiency, but to avoid wrist pain.
Re:Ask HN: What are your best purchases in 2020? on Tuesday December 22, 2020 @02:09AM (#25503771)
That looks amazing, but for 6x the time of Kindle, and roughly the same price as a good graphics card, it's a definite NO for me.

Raspberry Pi 3 or 4 ( possibly raspberry pi zero ) is an easy start. Don't reinvent the wheel

Tell HN: Amazon Reviews

I recently shared some negative review on a disappointing electronics product I bought on AmazonInstead of displaying the review, Amazon secretly blocked my account from reviewing it!Without notice, my review was ignored and hidden, and access denied. In short: Don't trust Amazon reviews at all. And keep all packaging if you ordered something during these holidays, since you may wish to return it.

I mean, maybe, but it'd be more substantial if you could explain what you base those on or what you actually mean. Otherwise it's as good as scapulimancy .

Plenty of individual transactions (at least on this recording time scale) and not a flow as an economy would daily. Plus some odd transactions where money is allocated to several wallets at the same time.

I wish it had the relative size included in the visualization.

When the price of gold crashes, at least you have a piece of gold. When bitcoin crashes, what do you have?

And yet the general interest (per google trends) is only twice as much as in 2013 when it first became popular. IMO this shows more speculation than actual demand.
I originally meant a slider to control speed but I also like the waypoints idea (a slider in cube state history) .

I'm still curious about the internal lines idea. But I don't understand the Rubik's cube enough. If you label all blue squares as {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9} is their solution configuration unique?
