Great rule. I was wondering, how do you manage updating the Jackson JSON parsing package. What if you have 100 such packages and they get updated weekly with breaking changes ?

By think, I mean the process by which you form new opinions about the things you read in a book or an article in a newspaper.I have come to realize that most of stuff I read, I am just passively consuming it. I do understand a fair bit of the concepts but never really bother to analyze or critically think about it.Do you take a pause after reading stuff and think about it, forming your opinions...

Another anecdote, my previous manager has one of those last names. He was hiring for a position and screening the resumes. He would send them to me for initial phone screen. After a while, I saw a pattern, all the candidates he chose to move forward with had same last names.
