It's a really a bad thing ... It's not the first time that these kinds of attack hit the European markets. So I ask to myself why in earth managers don't learn from the bad experiences of other countries/people.

In my mind this is impossible. In example if you want to buy somthing from an internet dealer simply you can't use only cash. You have to buy a gift card. However probably the best thing to do is to use them but in a supervised by human mode.

Agreed. I will gave nothing to an unsupervised AI agent. I use agent that collect info then present it to me. I perform a review then if there are no error I can merely click ok. Otherwise I'll rework by myself the whole thing. AI agent are useful. But I prefer to supervise them.

Ok this economically good. But what about small fishes, frog and other small life forms as insects ? No light no (or at least few) food for these (annoying ?) creatures.

Cool. Interesting. It is interesting that these nefarious things are now considered acceptable in order to protect people from AI-generated text… I fear the consequences of this widespread acceptance.

I think that probably KYC is too much for both fintech and bank enterprises. I've fear that all these useless info are a trove for thieves.

I tried them via OpenRouter. I loved their OCR. I really disliked their code generation. It was about six months ago -- so it was a geological era ago in this world. However Mistral is legally favored in Europe. In fact from my point of view , using them presents no trouble with GDPR (I live and work in Europe). I'm NOT a lawyer but I'm a technician that define itself 'privacy savy'.
