IQ is a general measure for pattern recognition. Most modern IQ tests are heavily dependent of things like ravens matrices.
Pattern recognition in obviously helpful when problem solving.

In my experience
Phone Interviews: Where I live my cell signal sucks so you can imagine how much "could you say that again" goes on
Whiteboard interviews: Mostly just uncomfortable but necessary to get a general vibe in person I guess?
Ask HN: What do you hate the most about technical interviews?
I got really sick of phone/whiteboard/coderpad interviews so I started to work on a project to make them suck less.Would love to hear everyones thoughts

Unfortunately, the question after is harder :( but I am working on a Christmas themed story and I'll be sure to make it easier. Any other thoughts or insights that might make it better?

I tried enterprise sales and then realized enterprise sales are really hard so I moved what I had to see how consumers reacted to it. I've had better results from just talking to programmers and I'm not really sure what to do with it.
I am very open to suggestions, appreciate you trying it out btw :)

Yea, there are a few hidden test cases so people don't hardcode in the answers. A quick hint for the first one is to use a stack, it makes the question much easier.
