Show HN: Gridiculous, my homebrew Game Boy Advance logic puzzle collection

https://oofinsprouts.itch.io/gridiculous

I'm a huge fan of logic puzzles and retro gaming, so I decided to merge those two and take a shot at building a Game Boy Advance game using Butano. My collection includes games inspired by four puzzle games: Picross, Slitherlink, Akari, and Binario. Re:The Everdeck: A Universal Card System (2019) on Tuesday February 03, 2026 @12:55PM (#46874475)
I created my own multideck a few years ago: https://randomlyunique.com/random/2023/improved-multideck/in... (SVG in link)

I use this deck all the time too - it was well worth the $25 to print it out.

"However, because melting is causing the Greenland Ice Sheet to recede from the coasts of Greenland, where icebergs originate, its iceberg discharge should not persist long enough to cause major disruption of the Atlantic overturning circulation by itself"

Re:Unity Engine to Godot Engine Exporter on Wednesday September 13, 2023 @06:15PM (#37502432)
I switched from Unity to Godot a few years ago and it's been great. My new (2D) game - Cirrus Business - was an absolute joy to create. I'll still probably keep using Unreal for 3D games, but anything 2D will definitely use Godot.

I cannot agree more - learning from mistakes is vital to preventing any further tragedies in the future
Humans have trouble dealing with three particle systems (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-body_problem), so "limited and ignorant" seems like an good description imo.

Re:Ask HN: What is your blog and why should I read it? on Tuesday April 07, 2020 @11:41AM (#22804212)
http://randomlyunique.com/category/plancky.html

It's a web comic series exploring physics and math in a non-introductory format.

Re:Show HN: A coloring book of data structures and algorithms on Saturday September 09, 2017 @12:52AM (#15205610)
I recently started a web comic series on my personal site that covers all sorts of technical topics. I'm having a blast creating it and one my favorites so far is http://randomlyunique.com/plancky/2017/what-makes-a-clock-ti... I wished more content existed between "nova special" and "advanced textbook"
