matplotlib comes pretty close to the nice plots if you need those

An alarm would ruin my train of thought so much, this idea probably works better for those of us that can't control our procrastination.
I know I have used my hosts file (windows and *nix) to block those domains that server such good distractions.

Not necessarily idiots, If you are expecting someone going through and throwing out resumes to be happy that you know X languages worked on X open source projects think again.. That should be left to the person interviewing and hiring you.
To be hired you have to be able to stand out of the croud while fitting into what is required. HR is there to make sure the latter is true and once that is met see if you have shown enough to move up to the next level.

I took art in high school and my teacher used this technique, although getting kids to adhere to the style wasn't very easy at first.
I guess my teacher had an advantage with a psychology degree though.

A pigeon could beat my internet with a 1gb memory stick and I am in America...just in a more rural area, I still have dsl though... 100kb/s down 20kb/s up
IF the company brings speeds greater than dialup I don't see the problem
Fiber is expensive and I doubt Africa is going to get it first.

Not only that, how many of them subscribe to time warner cable television.. most people watching hulu who have had cable/satellite have not given up their digital boxes for the internet.

I don't know too much about web whatnots but couldn't this be done through virtualhosts? like say ip/other domains go to nothing or another place, domain.tld/subd.domain.tld goes to the main website?
Or am I mistaken and this circumvents that?

I can never bring myself to buy ebooks it just isn't worth it to read on a screen I hate it. This is tempting but it still seems like a waste.
Print is always better than digital in my opinion though I haven't tried a kindle yet.
