Thank you so much for reading my blog and for asking all these questions. I am very grateful for everyone's interest + support!

I do not have specific requirements. I am flexible in terms of hours/week etc.

I am looking on entering a career that utilizes my strong Computer Science + Analytical skills and a career that allows me to develop/ use my content creation skills/ passion, networking, events, communication, digital marketing etc. I am not sure what is the right role for me.

So far, I look into content creator jobs, digital marketing/sales, business advocacy, and more!

I am eager to learn and grow, so I would be incredibly happy with trainee/ internships/ apprenticeships/ return to work programs!!!

Again thank you so much for asking me, it's so supportitive!

Thanks for the links + advice, I will be following them to read everything refering there. Interesting to see many aspects of the same issue.

I have degrees in Computer Science (BSc), and Neuroscience (MSc) with two years of being a researcher at the University at the Machine learning + Neuroscience department (hybrid). In parallel to my studies, I also started my own company for luxury wedding & events planning. My company was very successful and it was my only income stream for five years. I sold my company shortly after becoming a mother.

Career wise, I am looking for a role that utilizes my analytical and technical skills but at the same time, it connects me with people online and in-person. I love content creation (social media, blogging, video creations and more). Not sure what the suitable role is.

WOW I am shocked you remember! I wrote a book in parallel to the videos for science education in kindergarten. However, after almost a year of making the videos without an income o r a significant grow in my audience, I unfortunately stopped!

I loved doing them, I miss them and I am happy I tried it out but reality is, that I need a way to have an income!

But I am so happy you remembered the videos + experiements. The hot/cold water mixing experiment is super fun!I received lots of photographs from parents whose kids did it, and loved it:)

Hi. I am a scientist and a mum of twins 5 YO! During quarantine, I created and published a science book for young kids (ages 3-7) promoting actual science activity play in real life. The book has simple, graphical instructions on how young kids can set up and play with 12 fun science activities at home - having minimal parental support, promoting independence and decision making! This encourages kids to play and be curious independently! A QR Code links to a Youtube video creating a holistic experience of the activity through another type of media. We use household items only providing science that is affordable for all families! The book has suggestions on how each activity can be extended and kid-friendly explanations, so even non-science related parents can spontaneously play with science activities.

If you check out the book (Full PDF available on Medium Link),please let me know your thoughts, corrections/ feedback!

Thank you so very much

Re:Educational TV on Tuesday October 27, 2020 @07:50AM (#24906505)
I agree, the pandemic has changed so much of today's childhood. I myself am a science educator and a mother of twins girls 4 years old.and yes, I used YouTube so many.times to find something fun but educational that I can do with my young kids too, and I found the videos boring for my kids or requiring way to.many items for me to buy. So I created a series of videos with quick STEM educational activities for young kids and parents/educators to watch and play together, in parallel to the video. I only use household items and aim for very very low cost & quick preparation so you can do it together with your little ones avoiding long boring preparations! The videos are playfully designed encouraging kids to feel happy and excited for science activities so they can have fun and learn:) maybe it would be helpful for you too.. For example, this is a fun educational kids science activity with colors and paper towels - You can show kids how to do it a couple of times, and let them play independently for ages. It teaches them the basic elements of how water is transferred through paper towels just like a river. Also, when the washable colors are traveling with it, they are mixing and creating beautiful art pieces different every time, which is very engaging for young kids. You can also extend it by: 1) Demonstrating the creation of secondary colors by using exclusively primary colors. 2) Connect new pieces of kitchen paper towels to existing paper towels and monitor how the water and colors continue to flow. 3) Try using normal paper and/or toilet paper and monitor the colors and water flow. Watch how the colors do not travel the same way as with the kitchen paper towels because different materials allow water to flow from them in different quantities and speeds.

I hope you like it:) let me know your thoughts :) https://youtu.be/U41HIDxertg

For example, here is one of my stem activity videos

this is a super fun and easy surprise paper craft for young kids that young kids can easily do with a few household items. It stimulates imagination, creativity, symmetrical and spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, scissors skills & patience, and perseverance.

Would your little ones like this video and activity? Please give your feedback!

Thank you so so much!

I am a scientist mum of twins. I created a series of videos with quick STEM educational activities for young kids (3-7 YO) I aim for: -vibrant playful videos: so they are engaging for young kids -easy to follow & quick preparations: so kids can prepare together with parents avoiding the long parental preparations -accurate instructions: so it is easy to replicate at home -household items only: for low cost

What do you think?

Thank you for your time and feedback.

Thank you so much for watching it, and for the tip on putting a small part of it. You are right, I haven't thought of that. I can't edit the link now (unfortunately!) but yes, I will be following this advice for the future. And I am glad you liked it, its one of our favorite projects. It took a lot of self restrain and patience from kids (and adults haha!) but it was very rewarding at the end:) Let me know if/when you try it!
