He can do the mea culpa later. Lets fix this asap!
I approve.

Seriously tho, I wish most s/w vendor would do this. I wish Slack would do this for the next 3 months.

I like it. The whiteboard seems to be an anachronism but in reality, I suspect its something people cling to. Just look at every office space. Whiteboard or Idea Paint galore!
Come on, correlation != causation

I think the point is they all serve ads
Re:Google Rebrands ‘Apps for Work’ to ‘G Suite’ on Friday September 30, 2016 @01:13PM (#12613742)
About time. Diane Greene and team were a great acquisition for them.
Re:Google gets its cloud together on Friday September 30, 2016 @01:13PM (#12613740)
Them hiring Diane Greene and her team is the best thing they have ever done for that group. They are finally getting their ducks in a row to compete.
Re:These are the SDKs Pokemon Go uses to build a hit game on Thursday July 14, 2016 @11:16AM (#12094555)
There's an article I read saying that they will have sponsored locations soon. So I doubt they will monetize via a 3rd party ad SDK anytime soon. They'd rather sell the inventory themselves.
F'ing hilarious and sounds just like my ex-boss from hell.
Haha, right on. We need a shot of Chris Evans in one of the coaches to sell me.
Re:A year and a half with Alexa on Sunday May 01, 2016 @11:18AM (#11606489)
The key to get magic from Alexa long term will be get unsupervised learning working on it, and then shared back across the entire Alexa user base. The Brazilian real to USD is a great example. If by the 3rd try it gets the right answer, it should notate that and equate the first 2 questions as similar ones. I am surprised it couldn't catch the first 2. The word2vec output should be fairly similar.

The douchiest thing(s) a VC has ever done to an enterpreneur

Curious if people have stories they are willing to share. I've worked in startups for 15 years and have founded 2 companies. Here's what I have seen:- Backing out of a handshake deal at the last min- Forcing founder to sell so they can realize gains because they are going to be raising a new fund.- An investor telling his new portfolio co. he just invested in that it was ok to poach from us.

Re:Google will buy IFTTT on Sunday May 01, 2016 @11:03AM (#11606421)
I wouldn't be surprised. IFTTT has enough well connected investors that a tuck in by Goog isnt unreasonable. But with Ruth Porat as CFO, they aren't paying up anymore for acquisitions. Will come down to price. If you are IFTTT, you'd sell now instead of raising more $ and getting more diluted.
