Re:No More Icons in Every Menu by Default on Wednesday October 21, 2026 @06:41PM (#50188716)
One of my pet peeves is deleting an item is "Move to Trash". With no trash icon, I want labels to front-load the key word so the menu/list is scannable.
Re:Cf: The Agentic CLI for the Cloudflare API on Monday September 28, 2026 @03:33PM (#49883222)
It's crazy that some of the best product launches nowadays are CLIs.
Re:Claude Opus 5.5 on Tuesday September 22, 2026 @12:44PM (#49804176)
It’s not a 100% fix, but with concise output style on, it’s much better.
Re:Cloudflare Quick Tunnels on Friday September 18, 2026 @03:13PM (#49758864)
Does this make working with agents in cloud more interesting? Maybe now I can see my changes right away without waiting for the build and deploy? By running the dev server and tunneling from the sandbox giving me a direct url access somehow?

Can someone chime in here?

Re:Claude Cowork and chat are now one Claude on Wednesday September 16, 2026 @01:17PM (#49730092)
IMO no one knows what LLMs are capable of yet and the goal post keeping moving every few months that building any specific UIs right now risks rendering them obsolete or too slow.

e.g. We went from somewhat smarter code autocomplete, to asking chatgpt copy paste, to cli agent running inside your project, managing session, to GUI to manage that, to projects where you talk to a "Chief of Staff" agent that manages other sessions, to who knows what's next.

I think the right interfaces for LLMs right now need to be very simple and easy to change/evolve. And chat still seems to be the best default solution.

Re:ChatGPT Images 2.5 on Tuesday September 08, 2026 @05:13PM (#49617155)
Shameless plug, but I built an image generation app with tools for sprite sheet and cutting out the sprites automatically.

Added support for GPT 2.5

This reads so well I was supposed to go out for a workout but I couldn't stop until I finished it. Incredibly engaging yet simple writing that flows well.
Re:GitHub is the wrong shape for this new world on Wednesday July 29, 2026 @08:00PM (#49104609)
A lot of words, but essentially says nothing useful.

If GitHub is the wrong shape for this new world. Well, show me a hint of what the new world should look like?

To me it seems like everyone is frustrated, mostly at how fast things are changing, but not necessary because the existing tools suddenly became trash/irrelevant.

A lot of us are still contending with the fact that large amount of code is being produced and we don't know what the fuck to do about it. And we're less intimate with the code and product we ship than we were before.

Re:Steam Machine on Monday June 22, 2026 @02:15PM (#48633812)
I'm not familiar with SteamOS and Valve hardware in general. Could I play something like Overwatch on this, and connect keyboard and mouse? Could I play other PC games like World of Warcraft?
World of Warcraft is the closest thing to the metaverse. But I'm biased since it's my favorite game (TBC, WoTLK, etc)
Re:Claude Opus 4.7 on Thursday April 16, 2026 @11:31AM (#47794757)
What's an alternative library that doesn't turn large/complex frontend code into spaghetti code?
Re:Claude Skills on Thursday October 16, 2025 @02:46PM (#45609164)
So skills are basically preset system prompts, assuming different roles etc? Or is there more to it.

I'm a little confused.

I had to double check the domain, I thought it was a fake image gen. So weird.
Re:Zelensky leaves White House after angry meeting on Friday February 28, 2025 @05:53PM (#43212821)
I don't think you realize that those two issues are related. https://x.com/zei_squirrel/status/1895539811576135866

But then again, most Americans seem to have no issue with AIPAC having near full control over congress. Because if they did, we'd have seen more outrage and action.

Re:Zelensky leaves White House after angry meeting on Friday February 28, 2025 @03:59PM (#43210717)
I love how this is coming across as some grand revelation as well as a shocking wake up call, but no one cares that the American government is ENTIRELY compromised by the Zionist state, and bought by AIPAC.

Bring the same level of enthusiasm to that massive issue, or I can't take these kinds of statements seriously anymore.

Antisemitism is a form of bigotry, no more or less special than other forms of bigotry and racism.

If you read any significant amount of history you'd know that already, and you wouldn't need to prove that Antisemitism is real. Of course it is. So is anti-[insert religious or ethnic group]

Re:New iMac with M4 on Monday October 28, 2024 @11:35AM (#41972179)
Curious who uses iMac over a MBP with an external monitor? Is it mainly for front desk, businesses, and perhaps people with large homes and need stationary mac?
Re:New iMac with M4 on Monday October 28, 2024 @11:33AM (#41972135)
Opening large files, such as large Figma files, eats up RAM like no tomorrow
Re:New iMac with M4 on Monday October 28, 2024 @11:30AM (#41972092)
Been using it for 10 years. It's my favorite mouse to use. Scrolling and tap gesture is the main reason I prefer it. I also like touching glass/aluminum over plastic.

not sure if this is sarcasm or just gulliability and willful ignorance
You forgot Parcel, which is working on v3 https://parceljs.org/
No TypeScript version? :(
Re:Israel shuts down local Al Jazeera offices on Sunday May 05, 2024 @06:45PM (#40269298)
That was nearly 5 months ago. Did Israel take any of those measures? Or did you stop following the news since?

Again. Reality check.

Provide any evidence of the accusations you’re hurling, please.
Re:Israel used AI to identify 37,000 Hamas targets on Wednesday April 03, 2024 @05:42PM (#39923599)
Except that Israel has no business engaging in armed conflict or "war" on a territory they occupy and control. That's the only legal issue that matters. Any armed conduct by Israel in Gaza is by international definition deemed ILLEGAL. There's no right of self defense when you're the predator.
You claim to be disturbed by reading this extensive report. Yet, you're saying "I wonder what the alternative is", and you call what's happening a "war". That's already telling that you have no clue what's going on. and you've fallen a gullible victim to Western media.

Israel is a terrorist state that is not engaged in a "war" against Hamas. Israel is conducting a full scale genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza. Israel has absolutely NO legal grounds to "defend" itself against a territory it is occupying and has been occupying for 75. And have had a blockage on Gaza since 2006. Israel has been murdering Palestinians in the hundred a year and no one was batting an eye or holding them accountable to anything.

And now you say what's the alternative... and claim to be "disturbed" by their use of AI, but you don't realize they, the Zionist state, has absolutely no rights whatsoever to harm a Palestinian, let alone murder, let alone starve, let alone use AI to massacre thousands of children, men, and women.

Wake up.
