Does it really matter that much that a sewage treatment plant couldn't exist without automated sensors? Maybe it shouldn't exist then at all.
I don't understand. If a company closes, how is a union supposed to help?

Wouldn't low fertility rates make land less valuable? I don't get how my lifestyle indebts the future generations.
Honestly, I don't want that lifestyle. I live in the burbs with a big house and yard. We travel plenty and go to places that are dense/walkable but I love coming back home to my carbrained neighborhood with an HOA.

Re:End of the Road for Google Drive in Transmit on Tuesday October 08, 2024 @04:20PM (#41781459)

Re:Freetube is the best way to watch YouTube on Saturday August 31, 2024 @07:45PM (#41412920)
I assume this is in the wake of the cease & desist sent to Invidious (the engine behind Freetube) by the YouTube peeps: https://torrentfreak.com/youtube-orders-invidious-privacy-so...

Re:Do Not Mess with Scarlett Johansson on Friday May 24, 2024 @01:50PM (#40468644)

I would think anyone this serious about keyboard control would be able to use layers which is becoming pretty common and not have to "see" the keycaps.
