The media shouldn't blow this out of proportion - if quads are banned they will regret loosing such awesome aerial footage.

I've been teaching 21 years and I can tell when a student has started smoking pot. When a young person begins smoking their grades usually drop and they do not seem to care. This may not be the case with adults, but it is VERY obvious when working with youth.
We lead the nation in welfare, alcohol abuse and fetal alcohol effects, suicide, sexually transmitted disease, credit card debt, number of women murdered, and domestic abuse.
Now we are all going to be high as a kite, too.
This does not make my job any easier.
1. Job security
2. Job satisfaction
3. Good pay
I've never had a job that had all three, and it is really critical you avoid jobs that only give you one of these options.
We initially geared our site towards teachers, but later learned that wasn't the market that was willing to pay for our services. Maybe your experience will be different.
It is a slow process. About 1-2% of our customers convert to paying accounts. When we started limiting what was free it seems people stepped up to the bat and subscribed to a paying account.
Note - your prices seem very low. You could experiment with your price structure, people might value your service more than you realize.
• I took my family to see the Incredibles - cost $7.50 x $5.00 = $37.50
• I like it so much we purchased the DVD - cost $19.50
• Somehow the DVD broke, so in a fit I purchased it through iTunes - $14.95
• Lost that hard drive and had no back up - torrents save the day.
My philosophy is pixar has already made their mint on me. This one movie cost my family $71.95, and I'm not about to pay for it again.
Currently we use profits to pay anyone willing to work on the code and add features. It is self-sustaining, at least.

I see many people have this hate towards Flash because it is a plug-in, but what about QuickTime, Silverlight, and Java? Plug-ins exist to extend the functionality of our browsers and let's face it, HTML does not do everything.

If I was to be concerned about any country it would be England. They are 6th in GDP, but #2 in external debt.
To make things simple:
• Fred has a salary of $13,843,825.00/year and buys a $13,450,000.00 house via a loan.
• Jane has a salary of $2,560,255.00/year and buys a $9,088,000.00 house via a loan.
Now, which one do you think has the potential pay off the loan early?
