cyberdata

The only interesting example that I saw was of a 60 mb survey data being analyzed and report being generated. In many real world cases that I have worked with, the clients hardly know which question to answer, and how to collect the data to answer that question. That being the case, I think this field will be around for a few more years to come.

Ample time for us to evolve and transition.

I disagree wrt to Data science being on the chopping block. I do not see any hard evidence of this automation happening anytime soon.
>>However now I feel like whatever I invest time in learning right now is quite likely to be "useless" due to AI in less than a year.

Why do you think so? What advances have made you come to this conclusion?

No. I do not envy them.

Nothing in life has given me as much joy as being with my daughter and spending time with her. The first 18-24 months was challenging as we had to balance work with looking after her. But after that, being a parent is a gift that keeps on giving.

For practical purpose : Fast AI course would be ideal.

To get into the theory side of things : Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera taught by Andrew NG.

Get physically active. You would need a LOT of energy to be around your son. I wish I was fitter when I became a father. That would have really helped.

Once you get more energy, things will fall into place. So keep that as your first priority.
