Re:The Five NYC Taxi Drivers who Refused My Fare on Sunday December 09, 2012 @06:04PM (#4896566)

Weev is different. That's for sure. But what's at stake here is bigger than him. Anyone can be sued for going to a damn URL. That's the real problem here (as well as a myriad of others).
The point being missed is IE is the only program that can wrap Win32 with a metro UI. Only IE gets to maintain a single rendering engine/ code-base. Chrome/ firefox have to maintain a Win32 and WinRT version.

Speaking to your personal anecdote you view as fact, Or your metabolism has just been good with whatever you've thrown at it, and you've never put it into a state of shock to cause one of the many means of retention.

Alternatively you can go with, CALORIES IN CALORIES OUT. CANT EXPLAIN THAT.

Or machining and design tools weren't good enough to make an interesting one. Once physics figures out how to let me change the density/ mass of an object at the press of a button, I'll have your screwdriver hammer level for you.

Re:My fellow geeks, we need to have a talk. on Monday March 14, 2011 @01:47PM (#2323533)

Geeks ARE angry. They seem to have shittons of pentup rage

Re:Am I charging too high for design? on Friday March 04, 2011 @12:00PM (#2288729)
You do superb work. Do not be ashamed of your skill. Tell them to fuckoff and forward the mail to some cheaper junior person you know. Adapt to keep a comfortable income, but, great work.
Re:Google's Design Strategy is Killing Them. on Sunday February 20, 2011 @05:07PM (#2243283)
No. Then you get Microsoft. The drastically different design makes teams forget they are a part of a company, and they all turn into little companies doing their own things..
So basically the same thing Vista was doing (prefetch, and admittedly it did a shitty job with >1GB ram), except since its Linux, Oh its all fine guys, we won't destroy the OS' reputation.
