I think about this a lot. To control atoms and construct new systems using language and thoughtforms alone seems as close to magic as you can get.
Re:Record surge in atmospheric CO2 seen in 2016 on Monday October 30, 2017 @11:42AM (#15585843)
I've thought the same thing. It would make sense but would be great if someone with real knowledge could respond.

Re:Ask HN: Blogging? on Tuesday August 08, 2017 @03:17PM (#14961489)
Take a look at https://steemit.com It's a blogging / social media platform built on a blockchain that rewards quality content with cryptocurrency.

Some people make hundreds of dollars per post.

Anyone make else make a bunch on scooping up cheap coins on etherdelta then selling them the next day?
Ethereum has over 4.5x as many full nodes as Bitcoin, how is it more decentralized?

There is definitely a possibility DMT takes you to another dimension.
Re:Introducing Token on Friday April 21, 2017 @01:34PM (#14167538)
Did anyone else register a bunch of 'leet' usernames?

I wonder if they will reset the usernames when it gets put on livenet because it kind of seems unfair.

Re:Ask HN: Does anyone here have an art degree? on Saturday January 07, 2017 @12:43PM (#13345383)
I was a few credits from getting my BFA in Graphic Design but I dropped out. After a couple years I got a job at a company doing retail arbitrage on ebay doing listing design. I saw how terribly inefficient their processes were and decided to teach myself Ruby. The whole company now works on the systems I've built and we did 3 million in revenue this year.
Exact same experience here.

Re:Keybase chooses Zcash on Thursday November 17, 2016 @12:19PM (#12979343)
I recommend supporting Zclassic also ( http://Zclassic.org ) It's the same exact code as Zcash except there is no 20% "genius" tax for 4 years. It's the fair choice and even has the blessing of Zcash developer Zooko.
