That’s not at all what the article says and isn’t even what it’s mainly about. It starts by framing AI as a different way of processing data we already have (which is true), and uses that framing to introduce its main point.

Re:Ask HN: Who is hiring? (July 2025) on Thursday July 03, 2025 @06:11PM (#44459590)
I'd love to be a DevRel engineer, but I don't have direct DevRel experience, although I do have 7+ years of dev experience across the stack. I used to be heavily involved in hosting and participating in hackathons in college and represented my company at them when possible. I currently mentor at a bootcamp and have written technical articles I could share.

Is your team looking for DevRel engineers with direct previous experience, or would you consider someone with strong technical background and community involvement? Do you think it makes sense for me to apply?

Hi HN! I really wanted an easy way to provide code reviews for the coding bootcamp students I mentor. I'd have loved to use github's pull request feature, but it wasn't really practical as there's a bit of setup to make that work. Plus, I want to review the whole codebase, not its changes. So I made an app that allows me to pull down code, write comments/replies, and share it with my mentees. So...

is there a roadmap for features/improvements that you're wanting to make? what's your vision for the future of the app?
This is really cool! Something i've actually been thinking about for a while.

Would you mind a pull request that spruces up the design a bit?

I’m actually building one right now so I can give code reviews for my mentees more easily!

I’ll post back when I’ve put it up on the internet.
