I dont think in the future people will run these overpriced frontier models and instead have their specialized local models.
Even then, assuming the difference is that huge between frontier and open-source, a specialized „human worker“ _should_ be able to fix the gap.

If you take your time to manually set any kind of new installation location, I assume you know what you are doing and will obviously remember.

Changing the installation location should not break the program and if it does, its obviously a bug, or what are you trying to tell me?

Title.I think it is very rude to just install to any "default" directory and not asks the user where he wants it to be installed.

I honestly don’t see a problem with that, why would you want to publish something anonymously to the App Store in the first place?
Only scenario I can think of is something fishy.
If it’s legitimate you don’t need to hide your identity imho.
