We’ve measured models with countless benchmarks and arena results but there are surprisingly little resources to hear unbiased reviews from people who use AI models and subscriptions. I built The Vibes to fill the needed gap for people like me who are always switching between plans and want the best at any given time!

Benchmarks are great but in addition to benchmarks, I thought it would be great to hear first hand reviews from vibe coders (engineers) who use AI models and subscriptions.

We are still at a point where not many popular libraries are have accessible ways for their docs to be indexed and used by gen AI. In the meantime, we must do it ourselves. This repo is new and small, but as I continue to use gen AI (and of other contribute), it could grow to be useful to many.

Built with speed in mind. Each query takes about 1 second. Initial load time is averaging 1 second and to load it from cache takes 0.2s. Both of these are averaging faster than Google. But with a lot less functionality!
Duck duck Go exists as a privacy first search engine, so why not Komodo as a privacy first LLM client?

It's not unemployment, it's self-actualized "me" time!

I mean they never gave consent for their photos to be used as training data.
Our legal system's idea of intellectual property wasn't designed for and had no way of knowing what it means to use a copyrighted work as 'training data'. Sadly it still has no protections and even there were, it's no clear how it would be enforced.
How is it even remotely legal for Shutterstock to cash in on something that photographers never gave consent for? OpenAI is mindblowingly unethical.
Shutterstock was started in 2003.

So they built an entire company betting that little old Apple wouldn't mind hacking a proprietary protocol? Hmm.

It's the biggest company in the world yet they can't hire engineering teams that don't make stuff worse. SwiftUI has got to be one of the worst frameworks I've ever seen and it breaks all the time. Who was the genius that thought of this completely unreadable way to build an interface? TTS completely stopped working in iOS17 and xCode 15. And that's after several bugs were reported in beta....
Side note, the 10B investment is less than a half a percent of MSFT's 2.75T market cap.
This plays perfectly into the narrative that Sam wanted to take this godlike tech that Ilya created and commercialize it.
Sam chose greed over safety.
OpenAI never found a true identity under Sam. Sam treated pursued hyper growth (treating it like a YC startup) and many in the company, including Ilya, wanted it to be a research company emphasizing AI safety.
Whether you're Team Sutzkaver or team Altman, you can't deny it's been interesting to see extremely talented people fundamentally disagree what to do with godlike technology.

Correct. That's why they were able to fire Sam.
Oh, ok. Thanks for the education sir. I'm sure it's referring the color and not the second biggest cloud computing platform grossing over 50 billion per year.
Is your username named after Azure? lol
It's incredible how many of you alleged tech people think that Sam just wanted a world of safe AI while his actions suggest he wanted to make dump trucks of money.
He was the one who partnered with Microsoft and turned it from a non-profit to a for-profit company.
Or if you make TC, from 'from programming to prison'.
Sounds like a depth-first vs. breadth-first problem to me.
What program are you using to get 4.5x?
Oh you know that private video chat that that literally everyone uses, it's not private.
How is this getting almost no attention from the ms media?

I want to spend about $5-10 per person, to have my user demographic download the app and basically tell what worked and what needs work.Posting on Fiverr lead to a couple responses but none are in the target demographic. So I tried Craigslist but they suspended my account without giving a reason. I'm appealing the suspension but haven't received any response yet.Reddit might work but my concern...
