Palantir provides this by re-packaging and re-selling GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini
There could be something shady going on but I've seen this message occasionally with my OEM cable. Realistically, what could a secret device in your cable do?
I don't have a link to the form, but it would be good to verify that this is legit (if that's something you would be able to do). It's an unusual workflow imo so I just wanted to double check
There was the modal so they did notify me

I was filling out a rental application on on-site.com and a modal popped up telling me I had been texted a link and had 5 minutes to resend the link. I got a text from 32858 and it was of the form https://api.equifax.com/business/secure-mfa/v2/authentications/verification-tokens/<long hexstring>/verify. I clicked on it and it took me to a page that just had the text, "Authentication...
I'm sure some people feel this way and others feel differently. If it's not for you it's not for you—no need for a snarky comment
imo Google >>>> Microsoft > Amazon in terms of privacy
They all collect a lot of data, but Google offers very easy ways to manage that data and pause any data collection unlike Microsoft and Amazon. Microsoft puts ads in your start menu. Amazon (at least AWS) monitors all their clients' data and copies the most successful ones.
If this isn't a real apology then what would you say a real apology looks like?
Of the many public apologies I've read in the past this reads like an honest, genuine one. He admitted guilt, explained what he did wrong and did not try to justify it, and clearly stated that he apologizes. What's missing?
"Fifty-six subjects were recruited (32 CD and 24 NCD). One participant from the CD group was excluded due to imaging artifacts, rendering a final sample of 31 CD and 24 NCD."
Feels too small of a sample size to make any strong conclusions
At least he's not selling a course
Is this still working? I can't search anything, pressing enter does nothing
Do you think you're better than the OP because you're using a simpler stack?
Surprised to see no mention of fundamental frequencies or harmonics

Just came across this tweet criticizing the Parler social network for using a relational database:https://twitter.com/sarahmei/status/1348477224467394560My understanding was always that for relational data (e.g., social networks) you should use a relational database. Is the person in this tweet correct? If so what is a better option?
A lot of travel APIs are closed off and have minimum revenue requirements. I'd suggest trying some other travel APIs like Skyscanner or depending on your requirements building a scraper.

I'm developing a simple app where users can upload pictures. The app directly uploads images to Firebase Storage from the client, and sends the URL of the uploaded image to my server. I'm concerned about the security of this. There's no way to rate-limit users uploading images, so one malicious user could hypothetically upload millions of images and burn through my budget. What's the standard...

I was looking through the list of inactive companies on Y Combinator's startup directory and got to wondering: does it hurt to be an inactive company in their directory? Like, will potential future investors see that your last company failed and hold that against you?
I agree with pretty much everything here but to be honest it seems like most of these things are obvious. Of course college is important unless you have something better to do. Starting a business is hard. The media hypes tech up. Of course you won’t get rich quick flipping houses. Good to see that others agree though.
The thing is, I want to map my own information to points of interest. If I use Google for example, I can store my information and map that to their places id. But if/when I want to move to another service, I'm not sure how I'd do that. I could map information to the coordinates instead, but different services have different coordinates for POIs so it probably wouldn't work too well.

I've looked at Google Places, Mapbox, Foursquare, and HERE, and I can't figure out which one to use.People who have used these services, what are your thoughts on them, good or bad? I initially considered Google Places but the price is way too steep ($17 per 1000 searches!!). Currently leaning toward HERE but I haven't heard much about them and don't know if it's a good idea to rely on a...
Nice generalization there, unfortunately you're wrong.
Let me guess, you're white (or at the very least you haven't had to worry about your race for most of your life).
For other people race matters a lot and affects their daily lives; dismissing these arguments by saying that people are obsessed with their race is such an ignorant and unfair generalization that shits on anyone who has been discriminated based on their race.
How does this compare to Amethyst or Piston?
Do they really? I can't remember the last time I had a printer problem, and I print a lot. Printer hardware and software have gotten a lot better since 10 years ago.
How is adasdsadabab in any way Indian-sounding?
