Interviewed at Corel a few years back. Surprised the company still exists given how dated the product line is.
Good job. I received a degree in finance and ended up not wanting to go into banking so I went back and got my CS degree. Like you said, looking back it was definitely worth all the time and effort.
Mind explaining the significance? I didn't pick up on it.
Take away Vancouver and Toronto, and the price of a house in Canada is nowhere near the asking prices currently in those two cities.
Wealthy foreign inflation on Canadian real estate is quite evident.
Mansfield has a successful track record with respect to Apple products.
With that said, this is his most difficult challenge to date and I'm not sure how successful he and the company as a whole will be given the difficulties of bringing an autonomous car to market.

Besides their newly released app, what's proprietary about this business? What would stop a big coffee company from replicating this at a cheaper cost?
The possibility of becoming poor and/or bankrupt as a result of an injury is the scariest part of being part of the American society. Hope this changes one day.
No blackmail? No money in return? This hacker was definitely more considerate than your typical hacker with ill intentions.
"Apple’s stock price would be just as high as it is today (or more likely higher)"How is this hindsight on par? How is he so sure that the stock price would be higher? Hindsight is 20/20 but making BS hypothetical claims with no backing is unprofessional. He's just guessing.
"I believe – although this is impossible to prove – that Apple’s stock price would be just as high as it is today (or more likely higher) had they spent that $100 billion on a combination of smart M&A and smart R&D that would have continued to extend Apple’s lead over other Android phone makers."Anyone else find this peculiar? A whole article based on the author's hindsight of what Apple's stock price MAY have ever been with no proof/facts.

"No more zero days" is a good quote to live by. No matter how busy I get, I try to code something everyday.
When looking to grow our board, we sought out a leader who could help us expand our global footprint.Condoleezza sure left a global footprint in the Middle East alright. Hate do this Dropbox, but time for me to move on.
Edit: Suggestions for a Dropbox substitute?
No. This essentially means there will be two classes of Google Stock (A and C) with Class A stock having more voting power than Class C stock from a shareholder prospective.
This dilution of shares essentially gives those with a large share of stock options (like Brin & Page) more power.
Edit: As a user pointed out, Class B should be Class C

Although a similar post was made a month ago (see: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=7360491), I thought I'd post this again in case people may have missed it and are looking for contributors.
I very much like the look and layout of the site.. nice job!
Seriously. The sexual innuendo almost made me forget that I was viewing an actual company.
You don't need any form of education (besides high school) to become a police officer? If true, that's pretty surprising to me.

I was too until I read the "North Korea" part. Then it all made sense.
Never imagined I'd be writing the words "facebook" and "John Carmack" in the same sentence.
