Would you consider the Stripe[0] dashboard or Figma[1] ugly? I'm not agreeing with the parent's statement, but whether or not a WebApp or Native App is ugly is impacted more by designers, not implementation.

I think that CSS-in-JS is the new jam, especially if you're utilizing a state-driven UI view layer like React or Vue.

Good point about complex images. I do not think this issue will be solved anytime soon. An individual's mental image of a complex idea like inheritance or a data structure is subjective. Tying a specific visual GUI to a complex model (that many users would agree upon) is a very difficult design problem. Text allows the user to interpret the model using their own imagery.

Excited for Eager Evaluation! I can't count how many times I've had to re-rype selectors when exploring the DOM in a project.

Do you have experience with using parcel in production? How is it? On a previous project, our webpack bundle could take up to 20+ seconds - but we love the customizability that comes with webpack.

I can see the benefit of being able to identify smelly code immediately from poor code structure. However, I think that coding styles enforce consistency between good programmers who maintain their own coding style. A reviewer should be able to discern code quality - even with compliant code style - by how quickly it is to comprehend.
