Bit confused with the difference between this versus something like an Amex pre-paid card. Why would someone use True Link over one of the existing pre-paid card options? A web interface?
Sounds like overaggressive spam detection.

Why hasn't anything replaced Webmd for general health information? And why isn't there a vertical search engine for symptom/potential issue matching?Seems like an opportunity, but I'm curious why there isn't a site that already exists for this.
Really like the landing page design. Is the design available for use as part of Authority?
While an interesting story - I'm not a fan of the guest blog post pitching a "coaching program" + squeeze page.

What are some verticals where building you own structured data could be a viable business?I asked this 2.5 years ago and believe there is still plenty of opportunity following this model. For example, here is the rough general model:
* Identify a vertical with large number of distinct data sources
* Create structure around the data
* Make the data browseable and searchable
* Allow users to...
Can someone explain the mantra "Do stuff that doesn't scale"? Is this another way to say focus on the hard stuff? Then scale later?
Anyone know if there is something similar for people who can't attend during work hours (but willing to put in a full shift after work/weekends)?
The font on that page makes it so hard to read. Instant bounce.
I really don't want a big black bar on top of my gmail.

I hate how the article doesn't mention any numbers / metrics except for the final dollar value.
Any linkable images of the nametags? Just curious to see how they look.
Yeah - Vast really does pets.
http://www.vast.com/petsDo you really think there's still an opportunity in Travel given ITA/Google?
It's hard even to measure the quantitative stuff now. For example, how do you perform a query like "find me 10 colleges in the west coast, that offer both a CS bachelors degree and masters, ordered by average entry SAT score"?

Ever since Google acquired ITA and Metaweb, I've been thinking of other verticals where building / aggregating structured data would be valuable. Seems like many niches have already been covered:- Lawyers: Avvo- Doctors: Vitals- Location: Yelp/Foursquare/etc- Cars: Vast- Pets: Vast- Movies: Imdb- Credit Cards: NerdWalletI think it would be interesting to brainstorm some other verticals where...
Are there any other retail categories with the same type of regular repeat purchase?
Isn't this covered by Indeed/Simplyhired?

For some reason it reminds me of the Thesis theme. Maybe the choice in fonts?

I'm curious but how are you determining database size? What do you feel is an adequate size?

Site: http://aidscholar.com/Hi everyone.I built this site because I was annoyed with how bad FastWeb is for finding scholarships. At FastWeb you have to register before you can look for any scholarships - most of the time the results are not relevant and I keep getting marketing emails from them.So I kept it simple and tried to provide a good easy to use interface.I'd appreciate any feedback on...
