This will help those developers who don't want to navigate Wireshark's setup and just want the familiar Chrom DevTools. Very cool project!

Show HN: I built a Kafka message scheduling tool

https://github.com/vordimous/gohlay

Gohlay has been a side/passion project on my back burner for too long, and I finally had the time to polish it up enough for community feedback. The idea came from a discussion around a business need. I am curious how this tool could be used in other Kafka workflows. I had fun writing it; if someone finds it useful, that is a win-win.Any feedback or ideas for improvement are welcome!

I built this demo for a conference last year. It simulates taxis sending their location via MQTT to the Zilla MQTT broker, which proxies them onto Kafka topics. The map UI talks to Kafka with Zilla's REST and gRPC endpoints. Check out my blog post or the repo to see how it works.
What is the app stack? i see vue in there.

I put in bogus name and social. It said i was affected by the incident. So.... Probably phishing.

“Awaiting Further Demand” Meets HN Hug of Death?

Long story short, an issue I follow, and would really like to see be completed, was moved into the aforementioned status. The link is a list of all of such issues. It would seem they all have some level of "needing to be addressed" but not enough demand. So what if all of HN went in and commented or upvoted an issue or two they felt was...

So I have been putting together a way for people to more easily make their own blogging platform. Everything is committed to a repository using the JAMstack. Any feedback would be wonderful. https://your-media.netlify.com/post/make-your-own-media/ Everything is owned by you the end user.

So I have been putting together a way for people to more easily make their own blogging platform. It would kind of mimic a blog or social media platform, but since everything is committed to a repository using the JAMstack it could easily be converted to a fully managed platform. Any feedback would be wonderful. https://your-media.netlify.com/post/make-your-own-media/ Everything is owned by the end user. This is only providing a recipe for people to use. I will also mention that https://www.stackbit.com/ is doing basically the same thing but more from a “Make life easier for Website designers” perspective.

Wonderful article, RSS needs to make a comeback. Especially among friends and family who love to make large posts about important topics. I try to tell them to build a blog and then just link to articles that they write. Your article and others inspired me to finally just put together a system to make it easier to start blogging. I just mimic a social media platform, but since everything is committed to a repository using the JAMstack it could easily be converted to a full website.
