+1 for http://www.dnsmadeeasy.com/ . We've been using them for DNS since February 2007.

http://dyn.com/dynect is supposed to be pretty good too.

+1 for SoftLayer for unmanaged dedicated servers. We've been using them for all of our dedicated servers since April 2007.

Are you going to post the survey results on HN?

I bet a lot of people would find them interesting.

+1 for Things. The iPad and Mac OS X versions of it are even better.

That blog post is 3.5 months old (from March 15th, 2010).

Why is it appearing on HN now?

Re:Ask HN: Free weights, do you use them? on Monday June 21, 2010 @03:31AM (#1448235)
Also, if you're already in decent shape and have the time to devote at least an hour per day to working out, I highly recommend P90X: http://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs/best_selle...

You've probably seen cheesy late night informercials for it on TV, but it really is a GREAT way to build muscle and lose weight if you dedicate yourself to it and have the willpower to push yourself to the limit.

But don't just take my word for it. It has 4.5 out of 5 stars from 500+ people on Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000TG8D6I/ref=cm_sw_su_dp

I highly recommend replacing those 10kg dumbbells with a set of adjustable dumbbells like http://www.powerblock.com/blocks.html

I purchased a set about 7 years ago and it's probably the best fitness/workout related purchase I've ever made in terms of overall use and value.

Mint is great if you're running a Wordpress blog
In my experience, http://www.google.com/adplanner has been far more accurate than Alexa, Compete, and Quantcast.

We also use SendGrid and have been very happy with it.
Re:Ask HN: What's your morning routine? on Friday May 21, 2010 @02:36AM (#1366595)
I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine.

In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now.

After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub.

Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older.

Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Our company is in a similar situation. We're currently looking into http://www.port25.com/ (a software solution for $x,xxx) and http://www.strongmail.com/ (a hardware/software solution for $xx,xxx).
Our company was actually just looking into licensing eSupport and we thought it looked pretty good.

Why is it a "complete piece of shit"?
