The technical term is "oxymoronic snake oil"

Are all the keys really easily accessible if they have possession of a locked device? I suppose if they can unlock your device they can just open signal and read the messages right?

Does signal allow generation of new passphrase protected private key and can this software bypass that?

Re:Maybe we shouldn't want a fully decentralized web on Saturday December 05, 2020 @06:19PM (#25319398)
Censorship is a conduit to ignorance and is more harmful than "misinformation". I suppose you believe there is some infallible authority which can sort the truth from lies, but this isn't true. The censored will legitimize any information conducive to it's own power. You're advocating the foundation of "thought crime", go away.
I suggest national initiative type democracy, but everyone gets nervous when it comes to decentralizing power, even though we supposedly pride ourselves on being democratic. http://www.ncid.us/
Based on my training and experience, the war on drugs causes violence and wastes resources.
I heard that citizens are allowed to vote directly on national law in Switzerland... I don't think we need representatives anymore, if we aren't competent enough to elect the laws, how can we be competent enough to elect "representatives?" Electing representatives adds the complexity of guessing if you're voting on a liar to any policy stance. Democracy isn't perfect, but I prefer imperfection to centralized power.
genius^
The next step would be allowing citizens to vote directly on the laws that govern central bank policy.
Re:You're enlightened – now what? on Friday September 25, 2020 @05:10PM (#24594131)
use load cells, esp8266, & hx711 to weigh your (legal)fruiting substrate as it dries.. this way evaporation rate can be logged accurately and wet yields can be monitored.. Load cells should also be used to hang your drying racks to form a complete track and trace system.. I think enlightenment should be shared if you love your neighbor.
you should take that rhetoric back to the agency PR briefing where you found it.
The issue here is a global military industrial complex that constantly subverts the law it claims to uphold. Citizens are complicit as long as they're moderately comfortable. Authoritarianism will thrive until radical adjustments are made to our political/socioeconomic system, so it'll probably thrive forever. Better get a job in defense before you find yourself in a cage... I write for the flags and i loath free expression, join me in censoring uncomfortable ideas!!!
