Ask HN: Real world Svelte speed difference compared to virtual DOM frameworks?

There’s been a lot of hype around Svelte in the web dev world. Especially since it doesn’t use a virtual DOM—and is touted as extremely fast.I’m wondering what the real world differences are compared to frameworks like React and Vue. Is it truly that much faster than a framework that uses a virtual DOM?And are there any studies or articles that give a breakdown on real world speed differences?

The training/resource landscape is a bit confusing since I'm not familiar with the language, as a lot of the tutorials seem to focus on older versions.Outside of hackingwithswift.com, Swift Playground, and the official Swift...
