When you remove the filter, it returns 12177 results. So only ~5% of phone models include a barometer.

Eyes or rather hands?
It was not a bug. It was a feature request.

Ha! Looks like they were considering rebranding to Workapp. The canonical URL of make.com still points to workapp.dev

What do you think about the new name? I actually preferred the old one.
Re:Some notes on using esbuild on Tuesday November 16, 2021 @07:13AM (#29239639)
I can relate to the article so much! Even though I'm familiar with node.js and npm, my approach to frontend is also index.html and script.js with no build tools. This way I can at least know how it all works and fix it when something breaks.
Re:Shirley Cards on Monday November 15, 2021 @03:36AM (#29225124)
The article says that Kodak changed their film chemistry _not_ because of they were listening to the complaints from people of color, but rather because they were going to lose the business of two big professional clients: a chocolate company, and a furniture company.
Unfortunatelly, big corps have the power to impose their own taxes. Google, Apple, Shopify, Upwork, ...

I took a CS course in Polish and had no problem at all with programming languages syntax in English.
Good job! Looks great.

Re:3Blue1Brown and the Beauty of Mathematics [video] on Monday January 20, 2020 @05:44PM (#22102692)
- Why is the nature of reality so compressible into clean beautiful equations that are for the most part simple?

- The only things that physicists are interested in are the ones that are simple enough they could describe it mathematically but as soon as it's sufficiently complex system that's outside the realm of physics, that's biology or whatever have you...

So true!

The less lines of code, the less chance for a bug.

Ask HN: Is there a tool to observe data and notify me about significant changes?

The data usually fall into regular patterns depending on the day of the week or hour of the day. I want the tool to let me know when these patterns are disturbed. For example I want to be notified when today's values are more...

I'm especially interested in TV channels from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. So far I've found many free online TV streamings. Most of them are probably illegal and I'm afraid that they may disappear at...
