According to this, magazine sales shrunk a lot from it's peak in 1997.
Actually, the changes are quite debatable. Since it simplifies economic model of the game, not adds flexibility as might be assumed at first.
Even more, players already have been finding a way to deal with high rents, for example, by changing the zoning: https://www.reddit.com/r/CitiesSkylines/comments/17i5z33/com...

I have 8YoE in Cloud and quite in demand in Germany(recently got a good offer, which i'm considering, from a German company purely because of my open source contributions, also passed HC in one of FAANGs, but stuck in team match phase due to layoffs). I sent 10s of applications(it's hard to send 100s as i'm highly specialized) and didn't get a single interview from that.
Ok, let me be clear. I have a temporary residence in Germany. Before, i had a worker visa. I'm not allowed to start my own business with temporary residence here. Only if i have a German co-founder.
Just look at Germany, biggest economy in EU. It's treating it's migrant workers as slaves. Feeding failing pension system from them. Not giving any rights for innovation(you can't start business without German national cofounder) or even any motivation to innovate(high taxes, anti-success culture, strict residence laws).
When you mention any problems with Germany to Germans, they're so protective and unwilling to change that their only response is "go back home if you don't like it here".
No, it's not. Especially for cases, when the worker is a migrant from another country. I spent 3+ years of my life working in the country, paying huge taxes and huge healthcare insurance fee(which depends on your salary). And now i'm on the verge when i either work or leave to my home country(with a lots of problems). Despite contributing hugely to this country.
Concepts of countries and borders in itself is unfair to majority of people, who happened to be born in shitholes. Yet westerners just love to exploit these people to death, holding the carrot on the stick in front of their weary faces.
The pregnancy status is almost useless if the cause of death is missing. It gives no data on underlying problems that needs to be solved.
So pregnancy is not necessary the cause of death? That is very important moment, which is very vaguely covered in the article.
Theoretically, train speeds could achieve 300km/h. Built prototype has been tested only at 70 km/h.
Project was canceled due to high construction and operating costs. There were attempts by Yarmolchuk to revive the project in 50-60s. Although, as well unsuccessful.

Specifically, because provisional government couldn't get to a peaceful consensus that would satisfied both sides. Old elites didn't want to give they privileges away. So people took it. Good lesson to modern elites.

And yes, i realize that it sounds utopic.
Provisional government had a lot of decisions or rather "undecisions", for example regarding land policy. For which there was a huge support from peasantry. Then it's questionable position on war.
Provisional government was what it is -- provisional. There were a lot of disagreements between majority of people and old elites. At the end, old elites lost.
And what " murderous genocidal shit" are you talking about? I will not argue about excesses in repressions, as they clearly existed. But can we call them genocidal? Then, if you talk about Holodomor -- it's very controversial topic, surrounded by Western propaganda. You can easily find and read Stalin letters to Kaganovich, where you see that they actually tried to solve the problem of supplies but due to poor government organization failed to do so. So in no way it was "murderous genocidal shit", but just a system failure which lead to catastrophe.
Please, provide economical facts. As stuff about "repressions", althought, for sure, took place in USSR(as in US) and had few very well known cases of excess, is mostly based on US propaganda.
To be clear, i'm not defending the personality of Stalin or any other ruler and aware of excesses in power that they used(whatever the motivation for that was). But i would argue, that it was at the same level as in US(by politician and business owners). And even much milder, if we take into account US colonialism and suffering(physical and economical) that it caused to many nations all across the globe.
Tsarists Russia was agrarian state with minimal human rights for common folk. And then take a look what common people had after Stalin's era. Almost everyone had a housing/education. No risks of becoming homeless/unemployed. And that after a multiple catastrophes that USSR indured because of external factors(famines and wars).
Modern Russia is wholey based on Soviet achievements. And it's people are still holding up, provided with food and shelter, despite actions of it's rulers and oligarchy. Indeed, what a catastrophe was an October revolution.
It started last year, December 2021. It's probably less have to do with work, than with the general dissatisfaction about my life. So, in December 2021 i got my first panic attack and ended up in ER. Got sick leave for a week. Then returned to work.
I already started to feel better during sick leave. I just should have use my vacation, to rest a month or more after that. But i didn't. So, over the next few months, my symptoms started to get worse and i decided to return to my home country(Russia). Went there in early February 2022(still working remotely for my company). Started to look for a job. Felt great, surrounded by relatives and without a discomforts that i experienced in Germany. Then war started.
I returned to Germany in March. I thought that my visit to Russia healed me. Used all my vacations, visited Copenhagen -- absolutely loved it. And then the winter came again. My anxiety went through the roof in December 2022, i started to have an everyday headaches. Again did a lot of health checks, the results lowered my stress a little bit. But still, i just can't work. Everytime i'm trying to excercise my power of will, i just fall into a living nightmare.
Now, i took a long vacation, went to Italy. I'm still stressed because i know i have to return to work. But feel myself much better. At least i'm able do to a long walks without falling on my knees, and have no pressure headache in my head that doesn't allow me to sleep.
I will have to return to Germany in a few days. One thought about it throws me into depression.
Also, is it really long term solution to loneliness? If only motivation for marriage was to get the attractive citezenship, what will hold the marriage after it's done? Anecdotally, internet is full of stories of "mail-brides", who divorce the men and take a sweet part of his assets with it.
