Question - why does there seem to be so many different websites, which all seem to be part of medium.com?Time after time I'll click a link to some article, realize I'm on Medium... but it's a different domain? Yet it looks exactly the same, and I'm already logged in?Is is some kind of spam marketing, or a look-alike platform, or...?
I KNOW exactly what is going to happen, I KNOW I'm watching a recording, yet even when making an effort not to, I still notice my body is reacting and effectively re-living the experience. Spooky.
It can be used to create a sense of ownership by encouraging the reader to 'experience' the product being sold, just like you're more likely to buy a product after playing with it in a store.
The effect is weak but it certainly does exist.
Jus' sayin'.
Suppose you sell a B2B software, and you want to send emails to help the end user understand how to get the most of out it - how to ensure the right person is getting the emails? Many companies will be using a purchasing dept or at least someone higher up will be paying. Does that mean they, instead of the end user, will be getting detailed instructions that they're not interested in?I presume...
Heck I'm commenting before reading the article, I should go read it first...OK, slideshow..
Yeah, they seem to pitch it as a Paypal type thing that anyone can use, but I hit a brick wall when it came to accepting payments. Perhaps I should try again or something but I do recall last time it was asking for business registration numbers etc.
If I can use it then I'd happily do so, as Paypal rob me blind accepting money (fee) and then transferring to Malaysian ringgit (fee).
I despise Windows 10, enough that it prevented me from buying a laptop, until I eventually found a vendor willing to install Windows 8.1, which I merely dislike.
I wanted Windows 7 or was willing to try Mint. However they are not available, "no drivers" and so Linux is dead to me.
