It really depends on what you subscribe to. I subscribe to things to help improve me. Things like /r/personalfinance, /r/financialindependence, /r/frugal.

But most of the default reddits, yeah, they can be complete trash and a waste of your time.

Unsubscribe from default reddits and pick the ones that really matter to you.
