Almost as fascinating is that the article references Digg as the source - genuinely hadn't heard of Digg for maybe a decade? I thought the DVD encryption fiasco + reddit had ended it?

It got rebooted a couple years back. One of the founders of reddit was involved too lol.

Digg was briefly rebooted but once again died mere months after launch. Now they're peddling AI scams and the like.
