I don't see a reason why there isn't a market for a EV pickup truck. Maybe the American public simply isn't ready for it. Or the Lighting may have been too expensive compared to its ICE counterpart.

But the CyberTruck is just one man's doodle-after-an-acid-trip kind of design.

Yeah I agre, someone will crack the EV truck market.

Ford failed due to massive production costs which they assumed would go down as the tech got better. They bet wrong, and ended up loosing thousands per unit.

Battery tech needs to get better and cheaper for it to work properly.
