Haven't seen anyone else mention it, but the yt-dlp command line option:
"--sponsorblock-remove all"
has been immensely useful to me as well. The sponsorblock plugin and yt-dlp interop was one of the best things out there ever invented until the marketers fought back and DDOS'd it and made it hard to contribute 'ignore' timestamps for new videos for most users. Still really good for older videos though.
