If you're not using email alaising yet, what are you doing? And even if you don't care about privacy, it's just so much more convenient. DuckDuckGo is a good free one.

Most people use one of 3 major email providers, on a domain they don’t own.

Cloudflare email routing/forwarding works pretty well

I just checked and Claude's AI support indicated that you have to cancel your plan, create a new account with the new email, and re-subscribe [1].

How does Anthropic not support changing your own email, while spewing it across the Internet?

And we had a post yesterday: "Tell HN: You now need a government id in order to create an Anthropic account" [2].

Maybe I'll cancel and move to GLM or something
