Any tips for a senior SWE who would love to move away from coding and into the clean energy space?

If in the US, never vote for GOP canadites plus vote for progressive democrats.
But we all know the top 1% will make sure the US will never change so everyone needs to make sure they vote.

I applaud you for considering a change. However, you’re talking about making two career pivots at once, and I would suggest doing one at a time - i.e. either keep coding in clean energy, or do something other than coding, but not both. It’s hard to pivot.
If you want to be a senior SWE in clean energy, the Climatebase rec is good, or https://www.terra.do/, or subscribe to a newsletter like https://www.ctvc.co/tag/newsletter/ that announces when climate tech companies raise money (at the bottom of each newsletter), and apply to open roles at those companies when they start looking to spend their new money, usually ~1-3 months later.

Why not keep coding in the clean energy space? https://github.com/pogopaule/awesome-sustainability-jobs

There are loads of uses for improved software in clean energy. You don't necessarily need to move away.
