The market is not wise

The market wants you to put Oreos in your mouth. Oreos are terrible for you. They’re basically plastic at this point. It’s just emulsifiers.

You’ll never see the butter company do shit like this. Butter is butter as it’s been for thousands of years. There’s a different between these two things. The food makers can 100% make healthy Oreos, imagine low calorie Oreos, they don’t want to because fuck us. I’m asking why. This is a reasonable question.

>The issue is people not having a good enough activity level and then getting fat, and swinging to the opposite extreme by crash dieting.

I work out a lot, do you? What’s your bodyfat percentage? I’m at 8%. Do you even lift? You will never outrun your diet, and it’s not about fat it’s about health. If you were in shape you’d know nutrition is the basis of recovery, it’s not just exercise. Your performance is greatly affected by carb intake as well, look up carb cycling.

GLP1s are a failure mode of the market, they’re a symptom of the global food industry reaching a local optimum that just so happens to be toxic to humans.

What’s more, I’ve noticed your username, South Asia is being ravaged by diabetes. New research is correlating genetics to diabetes. GLP1s are helping countless people there, where real health outcomes are on the line, not some theoretical thing you can preach against online.

Yes, I do. A recent DEXA scan puts me at 12% BF, which I maintain year-round at an FFMI of 25.

Lemme ask: how many people have you trained?

>You’ll never see the butter company do shit like this. Butter is butter as it’s been for thousands of years. There’s a different between these two things.

People used to be fat before oreos were ever invented.

>You will never outrun your diet, and it’s not about fat; it’s about health.

Who claimed you can outrun a bad diet? I simply said people's activity level is low; this results in low maintenance calories, so when they apply a deficit, their target calories end up being low.

You need to increase your activity level if you are sedentary.

>What’s more, I’ve noticed your username, South Asia is being ravaged by diabetes.

43% to 44% of U.S. adults have obesity.

>not some theoretical thing you can preach against online.

We've got 17,000+ users and many reviews. Lemme know how many people are vouching for you.

I do not believe in biased research coming out of US.

Why are you defending poor nutrition choices?

For the free market?

And honestly, I’ve trained 2-3 people. I see them struggle with nutrition above all else, of course I will empathize with people trying to defeat these cravings companies have engineered, it’s not normal.

i am not defending anything but you can lose weight even if you eat only fast food, it all boils down to calories and macros.

The deficit is not everything. Either McDonalds or eating salad; This mentality is why people crash diet. It's not a good lifestyle, it's not sustainable. The food has to be good and healthy too.

If we had more sustainable foods, like low calorie sweets or making our cravings healthier starting at the manufacturer, we wouldn't even feel like we're dieting. If the scientists at the manufacturer would instead figure out how to substitute sugar, reducing bread/grain, instead of using emulsifiers... it's a no brainer!

The obesity starts with the manufacturer, market is not wise here

The reality is a lot of our food is not market driven, and this will piss you off.

They shove grain and all that shit into food because there are quotas, for farmers. The government buys and regulates the market and forces it to go somewhere. It's an artificial market
