>i am not personally affected in any capacity by trans gender individuals, nor do i hate them, i just find those people to be rather strange and don't want their public displays of indecency to be witnessed by children.
I am sorry, but I can't discuss with someone holding incoherent beliefs. You can't say you find someone revolting and that you don't hate them; you are contradicting yourself. You say you aren't personally affected and then say how they affect you personally. Sort yourself out.
>say a bill was proposed that would directly and harmfully impact the life of someone i disagree with
Like being seen in public?
>i don't want people having a hard life.
Trans people are some of the most assaulted people there is right now. You want a trans women to be forced to use men's toilets, where they will be insulted, groped, spit on, punched, and assaulted. You are not the benevolent person you think you are. Face it! Talk with trans people and see how out of touch you are.
They are men, so this is what they should be using. Or unisex facilities if available.
> where they will be insulted, groped, spit on, punched, and assaulted
The prospect of male-on-male violence, or the rhetorical fantasy of it, is no reason to permit males to impose themselves upon female spaces.
