I personally do not find it fine that The Netherlands exceeds the EU minimum floor (€0.359/L) by 135% and your Germany by 80%.

We have excise, stockpile levy and vat coming up to 47% of the almost 2.8 eur pump price

2% of my petrol tax is for an earthquake that happened 50+ years ago.
