Well, your reply to my reply is flagged to death, so you can see how the "community" here thinks how sane you sound...

You wrote:

This is like saying "The day I see you agreeing that the world is flat I might consider respecting you more". Hah, a hardcode defender of the mass killing might respect me? Thanks, I don't need any of that. Yes, arguing with you is like arguing with a flat-earther or a 9/11 truther, nothing will ever convince you that your views are deranged and so far from the truth. You can easily comfort yourself in your own "tower of ego-defense" by dismissing any argument as having the basis of antisemitism. Just like 9/11-truthers would rather deny reality rather than accept that they've been misled so deep into a rabbit hole, because admitting they're wrong would be admitting that they've been dumb for some 20-plus years.

Of course, I'm aware my arguments won't get anywhere; if a Genocide-supporter told me I was acting like a flat-earther, I'd also return to the "facts" that I know and conclude "What a dumb deranged fuckwit".

My reply cirrently have -1 points, being it flagged and hidden is a shame and disgrace to how open minded hackernews works to silence other voices, so much for the support of free speech. Since it's not the first time this is happening here, I think @dang should put some more efforts to community standards and how censoring posts works that don't align automatically with the mob,. As for the immediate wave of downvotes to silence me, I find this as an honor, specifically when looking back at my comment and finding nothing wrong with it, except again, not swimming with the other fish in the hn river.

As for the rest of your comment I'll repeat what's been flagged: If you start a war, and you lose a war, be ready to pay the price. The comparison between Rafah and Drezden is valid.

Now we're just going in circles (because you'd rather just rely on repetition rather than rethink your position, rethinking would let in doubt about how solid your arguments are). And if one side commited a genocide (or bombing and starving civilians for, hmm, wow, 2 years minus 1 week now), how much is the price to pay? Of course you believe "a genocide is justified when the other side starts a war" and "it's Egypt's fault that a genocide is happening", and I can also circularly refer to my comment.

"Because they (Hamas) started it!", is the justification you'll scream. It'd be like burning your neighbor's house down because you hated each other and he smeared dogshit all over your porch. In a lawful country, would that get you sent to a court, and would the judge let you go with the argument "he started it"?
