I am not a native speaker, but I can't figure out what you are getting at. I have a hard time imagining you meant this:

I guess, on the internet nobody knows you're a ruminant mammal...

That's what I suspected, but it's actually pretty weird to associate "rectum" as it's quite a dissimilar word, sharing nothing but a few letters. Like, "referendum" sounds like ass too? I mean weird, unless that's where your mind is anyway.
