Now, granted, I've only used it for 15 minutes at the store and not a week straight, but the poor IMHO software scaling required to get more "usable" space is a huge bummer for me.
(I went for the high-res 1680 × 1050 display when I bought my latest MBP last year to get the greater screen real estate.)
