Everyone is focusing on the securiy angle, but to me the most egregious thing about having these conversations over Signal is the use of disappearing messages. Perhaps these conversations/minutes would need to be classified, but they should absolutely be recorded.

AFAIK the executive branch is engaged in criminal mischief destroying documents of agencies it illegally closed..

What will be interesting is if Iran begins acting like the US toward the end of WWII. Strange "coincidental" choices.

Is this the particular attack reported by Google last month that the NSA warning was about?

[edit: yes, it is. https://www.scribd.com/document/843124910/NSA-full]

Something is not right. The sequence of the story starting with the accidental invite and the total ignorance that the "guest" was there. The pieces of the puzzle are not puzzling. The ideal next step would be a forensic device audit.

Also, taking into consideration something as simple as UNC5792, what if the "guest" was bridged-in? iykwim

Presumably the NSA warning required ability to read above the third grade level.
