Your comment is a perfect example of why so many Americans fully support not paying for Europe's defense anymore. WW2 was primarily caused by France and the UK being excessively predatory in their demands of reparations from Germany, setting the stage for Hitler's rise by economically crushing Germany.
But instead of admitting that, you just crap on the sacrifices of hundreds of thousands who went across an ocean to help the people on a continent that 99% of them had never set foot in. Americans know how much you look down on them, and are finally responding accordingly.
Pay for your own defense. Good luck getting your citizens to give up the cushy welfare programs you'll have to give up to pay for weapons for the first time in generations.
