Why do you think I’m trying to refute or support anything? Not everything is a battle.
Some people think it’s valid that the president be the absolute executive. I have no opinion on whether that should be true or not.
Even if the president was the absolute executive, they still wouldn’t be a dictator.
When trumps EOs no longer can be blocked by judges I’ll believe he is one. Until then we still have our checks and balances.
Having lived under authoritarianism, I strongly urge you to firmly and swiftly form a negative opinion regarding an executive fully exetcising bypass of the legislature and courts.

Ok, but that’s not happening in USA. Trumps stuff is already being blocked.
I encourage you to read what’s actually happening and not just headlines or tweets.

It clearly is.

That's like claiming there isn't a rape problem because a rapist attempts at raping someone is already being blocked.

What a dumb analogy.
If you read up on unitary executive theory, you won't need to look too hard to stumble upon the fact that it is rejected as being sugar-coated totalitarianism.

So you're trying to refute the totalitarian push represented by Trump's abuses with a theory that is known to represent a totalitarian push.
