I think a fully equivalent would be to use socat

On Receiving Server

    ssh user@proxy socat UNIX-RECVFROM:/tmp/foobar -
And then on sending server

    ./foobar | ssh user@proxy socat - UNIX-SENDTO:/tmp/foobar
