The first one is such a simple feature yet I find it crucial for all music/podcast listeners. Not every video needs to be watched.

Peertube has supported audio-only streams since I submitted a PR for this in 2019:

I made this not so much to listen to music but to listen to recorded lectures while on the move - and thus on 3/4G - so as to avoid wasting data.
