Re:Ofcom Concedes Defeat in the 4chan Case on Tuesday October 20, 2026 @12:18PM (#50168691)
Did they fully block it or just put it on the blocklists that you can turn off in your account settings?

https://www.blocked.org.uk/site/http://www.4chan.org suggests the latter to me, but the checks aren't very recent

What form does a book take on patreon if there's no file to download - is it just one huge text post?

Re:Pirating the Pirates on Monday September 28, 2026 @04:51PM (#49884167)
In the UK Red Dwarf had full series on VHS from 1991, albeit a messy release and taking some years to catch up with what was currently airing: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Dwarf#Home_video_releases

As far as I can see none of the content mentioned in the post is under an exclusivity rule (it can all be shared in other places).

Whether a 90GB file will still have anyone seeding it on a small or public tracker at the point you want to download it is another question of course.

Re:Jimmy Kimmel Interviews James Talarico on Saturday September 12, 2026 @04:05PM (#49676642)
>Kimmel said that since the show began over 20 years ago, he has interviewed “Americans who are running for office with no problem at all”, noting that this ranged “from Hillary Clinton to Ted Cruz to Donald Trump himself”.
