Yall are awesome. Thank you

I don’t have a product to promote—I'm just here to hold myself accountable. I'm taking one final shot: a 6-month journey to build and launch my first mobile app while also committing to regular gym workouts and improving my sleep and eating habits. Struggling with chronic anxiety and depression, I was inspired by Tom Brady’s words, “Even on your worst days, you should try—that’s what sets people apart.” I’m determined to give it a genuine effort for the next 6 months. This is a make-or-break moment in my life—let’s see how it goes.

In Japan, there is an expression, “Act first, results will follow."

You've started to take action, and that is great.

Aug28: I registered for the gym. A lot of amazing people here looked out of place but that’s fine. I guess

Bought protein shakes. But ordered some Popeyes bad choice but it’s ok

An app may or may not succeed despite your best efforts. Your physical goals will show positive rewards, and I do recommend some "positive definite" activities to keep you from the anxiety and depression.

I am retired now, but things like photography and piano always rewarded my efforts. So did raising a wonderful daughter. She got an honors psych degree and always recommends a therapist. I tell her that I'm too old to fix!

Your programming efforts are the means, but also an end. You'll grow from them, and even if your app is not a "killer" app, your work will find a use. I had a wild variety of jobs and always had to learn new things for the next one. In the process, I found that "good homework always pays off" eventually.

I hope that your efforts bring forth your desired result, but be prepared to be surprised if you succeed in unexpected ways.

Health is wealth, too.
